Samsung has introduced its new mid-range F-series phone in the market where it faces heavy competition from brands like Poco, Nothing and Realme.
Samsung has launched the latest addition to its F series, the Galaxy F55 5G, in India. The company claims this is the slimmest and lightest vegan leather smartphone in its segment this year. It is powered by a Snapdragon Gen chipset, comes with long OS support and features a durable design along with the vegan finished body.

Samsung Galaxy F55 has launched in three variants i.e. 8GB + 128GB which is priced at Rs 26,999, 8GB + 256 GB priced at Rs 29,999 and lastly, the 12GB + 256 GB model that costs Rs 32,999. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G can be purchased from e-commerce platforms like Flipkart or even Samsung’s India online and offline stores. At these prices, you have the Nothing Phone 2a, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Realme GT 6T along with the Poco F6 in the market.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM. It sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. You get it with IP67 rating which makes it dust and water resistant. The phone weighs under 190 grams. It boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, you have a 50MP camera for selfies. The phone comes with the One UI 6 version based on Android 14. Samsung has committed to providing four generations of Android updates and five years of security updates for the device.
The Galaxy F55 5G packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, and the charger is sold separately. You get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
