Xiaomi has launched its new budget Redmi tablet and TWS earbuds that offers improved hardware, new features and a price tag that gets your attention.
Xiaomi has launched new products under the Redmi series, which includes a new affordable tablet and TWS earbuds. The company has also expanded its smart home ecosystem with a robot vacuum cleaner and a handheld garment steamer. Talking about the Redmi Pad SE, this affordable tablet focuses on the students with its multimedia-heavy features along with Dolby Atmos-powered speakers.
Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Buds 5A Price In India
Redmi Pad SE has launched in India for a starting price of Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 13,999 and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage option, respectively. You can get the tablet for a lower price thanks to some bank offers. Redmi Buds 5A comes at Rs 1,499 thanks to the special launch price which could increase later.
Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Buds 5A Features
Redmi Pad SE features a 11-inch display that gets 90Hz refresh rate and supports FHD+ resolution. The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable. Xiaomi is not giving you the new HyperOS version with this tablet, which will be offered via an update at a later date. So, you have to contend with the Android 13-based MIUI 14 version.
It has an 8MP camera at the back, and a 5MP shooter on the front. It has Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers and the metallic body packs an 8,000mAh battery which only supports 10W charging speed.
The Buds 5A comes with active noise cancellation and even isolates noise when you are on a call. The buds get 12mm drivers which are likely to focus on deep bass, which is the case with most TWS earbuds in this segment. It gets Google Fast Pair support, Bluetooth 5.4 and IPx4 rating. Xiaomi says the Buds 5A can last for up to 30 hours with the charging case.
