Vai Ra partners with Sankalptaru for environmental initiative

Lab grown diamond business Vai Ra has partnered with Indian environmental organisation Sankalptaru to plant a tree for every jewellery purchase made through Vai Ra and enhance conservation efforts in the country.

“In a bid to combat climate change and promote biodiversity, Vai Ra has committed to planting a tree through Sankalptaru for every transaction completed with the company,” said the brand’s co-founder and CEO Rohit in a press release. “These trees will be meticulously managed by rural communities within India, fostering economic empowerment and environmental stewardship at the grassroots level.”
 
Vai Ra customers will also receive a certificate to go along with their jewellery purchase which details the tree planting and features a QR code. Customers can then use the QR code to track the progress and growth of their tree to show that the brand aims to make a longterm commitment to the environment with Sankalptaru, according to the business.
