Passengers Slam Vistara Over Multiple Flight Delays and Cancellations, Carrier Blames Operation Reasons

The airline blamed the operation reasons for the disruption. A spokesperson from Vistara said their teams are tirelessly working to stabilize the situation.

The leading carrier in India Vistara has been hitting the headlines for the past few days for all the wrong reasons. The airline has reported multiple flight delays and cancelations in the last few days, causing a lot of trouble for several flyers.

While reacting to the service disruption, a spokesperson from the airline said, “We have had a significant number of flight cancellations and delays in the past few days due to various reasons including crew unavailability. We acknowledge and are deeply concerned about the inconvenience to the customers. Our teams are working towards minimizing the discomfort to the customers, the spokesperson added.

In addition, it also has been informed that the airline has temporarily reduced the number of flights to ensure adequate connectivity across the network.

Here’ How Customers Reacted

After witnessing huge flight delays, some of the passengers shared the experience on social media platforms. One of the flyers slammed the airline, and wrote a long post on on X, formerly known as Twitter that reads “#Vistara #UK827 Bombay to Chennai delayed more than 5 hours and no confirmation yet. Absolutely pathetic.”

Another passenger also launched a sharp attack on the carrier and said, his flight got canceled at the last moment, citing operational reasons. The customer said he even changed the booking from 5 am to 9 pm. Even then the flight took off at 11. He criticized the airline saying, ” Do u even care for ur customers, their time, money? As a CV Gold member frustrated by ur poor service.”

Earlier Incident

This is not the first time Vistara landed its passengers in the soup, making them wait for hours at the boarding gate. Earlier, the airline grabbed the headlines due to mass sick leaves by the pilots, impacting the service nationwide.

The company then acknowledged the inconvenience and said they are working to maintain the flight schedules and will offer seamless connectivity to their customers.
