Tiramisu launches as desi style jewellery brand

Tiramisu has launched as a demi-fine, handcrafted jewellery brand with a traditional Indian aesthetic. The new label is headquartered in California, US and was founded by entrepreneur Anushree Pacheriwal.

The label has launched online with a direct to customer e-commerce store, Tiramisu announced in a press release. The brand aims to cater to destination weddings with travel friendly pieces and plans to build a diverse collection for both men and women.
 
“We are delighted to introduce you to Tiramisu, a new generation e-commerce jewellery store for all your Indian jewellery needs,” announced the new brand in a press release. “This destination for artisanally [sic] handcrafted jewels curates collections that aim to empower the wearer and express their unique personality. With 18 karat gold plated pieces handcrafted by skilled craftsmen of Jaipur, these jewels are designed in Polki, Basra Pearls and semi-precious stones.”

The brand’s name is designed to highlight its ‘global citizen’ customer demographic. ‘Tira’ refers to a seashore of hidden treasures, ‘Mi’ refers to ‘me’, and ‘Su’ refers to ‘you’, according to the label. 
 
Designed to pay tribute to Indian culture, Tiramisu jewels can be worn with traditional, fusion, and western wear. The label aims to tap into the sizeable non-resident Indian market in the US with its online store.
