Kalyan and Chanana, currently serving as President and Executive Vice President (Films), will now be designated as Executive Directors also.
Kalyan, with extensive digital industry experience, oversees T-Series’ business development, licencing of music catalogues and films, managing music publishing revenue, collaborating globally, formulating corporate growth strategies, and representing the company on industry forums.
Chanana is currently responsible for acquiring content, managing complex challenges in the film industry, and enhancing project success. He also plays a key role in film production, distribution, liaison, relationship management, and licencing of films produced or co-produced by T-Series for satellite broadcast.
T-Series Chairman Bhushan Kumar commented, “Neeraj and Shiv have been my support system, and their enriching experience of many years in the industry, their hard work, dedication, and team spirit have taken us to greater heights. They both have stood by me through my entire journey, and it has been rewarding for me (both professionally and emotionally) to work with both of them. I am really glad that they are now on the Board of Directors of T-Series.”
T-Series’ income increased by 64% to Rs 2177 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2022, up from Rs 1315 crore the previous year. The company’s profit increased by 40% to Rs 935 crore from Rs 667 crore.T-Series is India’s leading music label and is one of the top content publishers on YouTube globally.
