Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor starrer ‘Fighter‘ is just a day away from release and the excitement is quite high. The film is expected to kickstart 2024 on a high note, just like ‘Pathaan’ did last year. The film is touted as India’s first aerial actioner and Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing an Air Force officer for the very first time. The buzz so far in terms of the advance bookings also looks good and is expected to get better if the film manages to get positive word of mouth.
‘Fighter’ has sold 75,000 tickets in the top 3 National chains for its opening day so far and as per Sacnilk.com, it has sold 150k tickets overall through the country, including the smaller theatres and single screens. The ticket sales at PVRINOX is around 60,000 tickets at the moment. Meanwhile, 14,000 tickets have been sold at Cinepolis, as per Pinkvilla. By the end of the advance sales, which is by Wednesday night and Thursday very early morning, the ticket sales at the national chain is expected to be around 150000 tickets.
The film is expected to make Rs 25 crore on the opening day as it’s not releasing on Republic Day but a day in advance which is a non-holiday. With positive word of mouth and numbers in the range of Rs 25 crore each on all the days, ‘Fighter’ is expected to garner Rs 100 crore within its first 4 days at the box office. Infact, that’s the least which is expected out of the movie at the moment, for it to have a good hold at the box office and to be considered as a decent opener.
‘Fighter’ directed by Siddharth Anand also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
