World University of Design showcases student fashions in Haryana

Design focused education institute World University of Design showcased a wide array of student-designed fashions in Haryana at its Haryana campus at ‘Made in WUD Design Week’, which took place in person for the first time. 

Made in WUD Design Week featured a mix of fashion shows, art exhibitions, and interactions with fashion and creative industry leaders, the institute announced on Facebook. The event was designed to showcase up-and-coming creative talent and bring together industry to forge links and share experiences. 
 
Brands represented at the design week included Nykaa, Banana Brandworks, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Just Another Tailor, Satya Paul RBL, Akkaro, Impulse, Chalk Studio, Wishbox Studio, and Future Factory among others. A highlight of the week was a presentation by the institute’s school of fashion and school of business which took inspiration from themes of gender fluidity. 

World University of Design also recently took part in fashion event One Day Fashion which took place earlier in the month in New Delhi at the Fairlie Hotel & Resort. The institute acted as knowledge partner for the event which featured runway shows and a jewellery presentation in partnership with CVD Diamond & Jewels by Ankur Jain, the Hindustan Times reported.
